We were informed by various sources that the Tanjung Road leading out to Bandar Utama from Tropicana was closed to Traffic this morning itself (16 Nov 2009).

Indeed, this morning there were traffic cops blocking the traffic from Persiaran Tropicana from entering the road in front of Riana Green Condo. Traffic were diverted into Persiaran Tropicana and I guess this has caught the frequent user, such as myself, by surprise.
Usually, it takes me about 15 minutes for me to get to my office in Kelana Jaya from Kota Damasara but today, it took me almost 40 minutes!
But I don't think this is a closure. Perhaps the police is making a test run on the traffic flow; in case Jalan Tanjung is closed to the public.
Yeah i know it caused a major major traffic congestion ....in our area.
We're still waiting for some information.. so far none yet!
MixFM announced that it was Maxis Work... i wonder if its true?
Yes, we just has been informed my our condo management office that the road is closed permanently. This is outrageous.
As u kow this morning Bandar Utama closed off Jalan Tanjung without any prior warning. (http://opaldamansara.blogspot.com/2009/11/bandar-utama-advertisement-in-star.html)
